How to get Coronavirus Insurance! Since the recent Coronavirus outbreak, I’ve received many calls asking, “Does my health insurance plan cover Coronavirus?”. The answer is yes, as all health plans cover any medically necessary procedures. If you are really concerned about Coronavirus here are a few options that provide additional coverage. I always recommend getting the right coverage for your long-term needs, but I also know that certain events motivate you to finally get that coverage. The good news is that these plans are usually very quick to implement. Call or text us at 425-802-2783.

Hospital Recovery Insurance: This plan can start as soon as the next day. It covers hospitalizations for new medical issues (not just Coronavirus), it’s really that simple. You MUST get this before signs of an illness start materializing. If you get this after getting sick the plan will not pay out. This plan covers a flat amount from $100/day to $900/day (we recommend doing the max benefit) for up to 30 days per calendar year. Essentially it would cover up to $27,000 if you are hospitalized. This would allow you to cover your max out of pocket on your health insurance plan and some other personal expenses. One main thing to note is that the Hospital Recovery plan does not cover prior health issues. This might not seem like much coverage, yet the cost per month is very low. As you can see in the example of a 45 year old, for $27.21/mo with a $500 per day benefit, it would take 45.9 years to break even if you are ever hospitalized in that period of time. A plan with a $500/day coverage for 30 days is up to $15,000. Seems like a good benefit to me! NOTE:
